The short version. We collect what we need to give you an account, take payment, deliver what you bought and answer you when you write in. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing unless you asked for it. You can have your data corrected or deleted by emailing ceo@dannyokecgroup.com.

1. Who we are

This website, ceo.dannyokec.com, is operated by DANNYOKEC ENTERPRISE (BN-2536522), a business registered in Nigeria and based in Abuja. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean DANNYOKEC ENTERPRISE, and "you" means anyone who uses the site.

We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions, requests or complaints go to ceo@dannyokecgroup.com.

2. What we collect

When you create an account

Your name, email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash — we never see or store the password itself. We also record when your email address was confirmed.

When you sign in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google gives us your name, email address, profile picture and your Google account identifier. We request only the openid, email and profile scopes. We never ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service, and we cannot read them.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer this data to anyone else except as described in section 4, we do not use it for advertising, and no human reads it except where you ask us for support or where the law requires it.

When you book a consultation

Your name, email address, phone number, company name where you give one, and the topic you want to discuss, along with the slot you chose and the payment reference for the session.

When you pay

We record the amount, the currency, the status and the transaction reference. We never see or store your card number, CVV, bank details or wallet credentials — those are entered on our payment provider's own page and never touch this website.

When you buy or are granted a course

Which course, what you paid, in which currency, and when access was granted.

When you contact support

The subject and body of your messages, and any files you attach. Support files are stored on a private disk and are served only to you and to us.

When you subscribe to the newsletter

Your email address, optionally your name, and a note of which page you subscribed from. Nothing is sent to that address until you click the confirmation link.

Automatically

A session cookie so the site can remember you are signed in, and standard server logs kept by our host for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To perform our contract with you — creating your account, delivering courses, running consultations, sending receipts and access details.
  • Because we have a legitimate interest — keeping the site secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and answering support requests.
  • Because you consented — newsletter and marketing email. You can withdraw this at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
  • Because the law requires it — keeping records of transactions for tax and accounting purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that make the service work:

  • Flutterwave — payment processing. They receive your name, email and the amount so they can take payment and tell us whether it succeeded.
  • Cloudflare — course video hosting and delivery. Lesson videos are served through short-lived signed links.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • YouTube — public videos and course previews are embedded using youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set cookies until you press play.
  • Our email provider — to deliver verification codes, receipts, support replies and newsletters.
  • Our hosting provider — which stores the site and its database.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. Where your data is held

Some of these providers operate outside Nigeria, so your data may be processed abroad. Where that happens we rely on the provider's own contractual safeguards and their compliance with recognised data-protection standards.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account data — while your account exists, and for a reasonable period after you close it in case of a dispute.
  • Payment and booking records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Support threads — while your account exists, so you and we can see the history.
  • Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe, plus a record that you did so, which stops us mailing you again by mistake.
  • Verification codes — minutes. They are hashed, and deleted once used or expired.

7. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and equivalent rules where they apply to you, you can ask us to:

  • show you the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your data, where we are not required to keep it;
  • stop using it for a particular purpose, including marketing;
  • give you a copy in a portable format;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Email ceo@dannyokecgroup.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, verification codes are hashed and rate-limited, course videos are served through expiring signed links, and uploaded files are kept on a private disk that is not reachable from the public web. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously — if we ever discover a breach affecting you, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

9. Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects you, we will say so by email or on the site.
